Warning this is not the gore grind band Gut from Germany. This is a different band.

They are from Boston, and they play a completely different style of metal than the afformentiond Gut.

Not that this is bad. Just want to make sure that people know what band I am reviewing.

This is more traditional thrash metal like from the late 80′s and early 90′s. The music is not bad but it has a definite garage band sound. It is fairly simple metal with a few different styles.

There are not alot of tempo changes. No grinding here. This is more of what you would expect to see at the local metal bar when no national act is in town.

The riffs are good, the drums sound like drums but the vocals leave something to be desired. Also being that it is a demo, it is very short. It features 5 songs for a total of about 18 minutes of music.

I can see this band going on to bigger and greater things but this demo is just that, a demo. It is no more than an example of what they will sound like if you are considering booking them for a gig.

Having said that, I imagine this band sounds alot better live than this CD really demonstrates. They are fairly heavy with thick riffs and I would assume that to really get a good idea of this band, one would have to attend a show.

If I we’re in this band I would change the vocal style, change the band name (it has been used and really does not fit the style of music they play anyway)

This is not really my style of metal anymore. It was like 15-20 years ago, but I have since embraced much harder genres.

Though if you are a fan of the old school thrash such as I mentioned above. This might be a CD you will enjoy.
