A: JAKA exists since end of 1997. Klaus and me started this shit. After some lineup-changes we are 6 members today.

A: Erich kaestner, Lars von Trier, Tomi Ungerer, Funny van Dannen, maybe

A: Popdivas go metal from Counterforce.
Q: When will Japanische Kampfhorspiele be touring? Is there an American tour planned?
A: For Europe there are just 3 gigs planned til now. All in Germany. Next Friday they dance a bit of ballett to our Alle Wollen Gut Aussehen Und Tun Es Nicht in New York. But we will not be performing live there!

A: What is the question? Sorry my english.
Q: How do you categorize Japanische Kampfhorspiele’s sound when people say “What kind of music is it” Death, Grind, Black, Metal, What?
A: Grindpunk!
Q: Any Japanische Kampfhorspiele members from other bands, or currently working on other projects?
A: Yo. Rupert ist in a band called Unchallenged Hate, Paul is also the singer of “Zeroed” and I’m into “Elektrokill”.
Q: Any plans for the next CD yet, or are you still working on supporting the current release?
A: We will record one or two new splits in January/February. One is with Bathtub Shitter and will be released through Relapse. The other one could be with the German Poostew and on Silentstagnation Records. Our next longplayer is planned to be recorded in May.
Q: Besides Japanische Kampfhorspiele, what are the various band members into when not, touring, rehearsing, recording music?
A: Bony has a record store, Rupert works as an electrician, Bajo works in some factory where you need earplugs, I work as graphic designer and male nurse, Klaus zockt den staat ab and Paul works in a bank but don’t tell anybody!
Q: What is your opinion on the current state of the world? (terror, the war in Iraq, and so on…)
A: The end is near!
