Q: Where is Insatanity from?
A: (Lytle) We are from Philadelphia, PA, USA

Q: How long has Insatanity been together?
A: (Lytle) We started in the summer of 1992 in the basement of our first drummer’s house in North East Philly

Q: How many members are in Insatanity? Names? Instruments?
A: (Chamberlin) There are four of us.

  • Chris Lytle: - Bass/Vocals
  • Justin DiPinto: - Drums
  • Ed Drozdowsky: - Guitar

Q: What is the age range of the band members?
A: (Chamberlin) Early 20’s to early 30’s, some of us are old

Q: What (if any) is the message behind Insatanity’s lyrics?
A: (Lytle) Praise thy self, Respect the few, and bow to none!

Q: Who are your biggest influences?

Q: What is some of your favorite art, books (please include authors), & movies, if any?
A: (Chamberlin) Michaelangelo for art, anything by Tarantino for movies, and Lao Tszu

Q: When will Insatanity be touring? Is there a European tour planned?
A: (Lytle) We are setting up tours in the US and Europe for next Summer.

Q: In general, what has Insatanity been up to lately?
A: (Chamberlin) Writing the new album - “The Day God Died”

Q: How do you categorize Insatanity’s sound when people say “What kind of music is it” Death, Black, Metal, What?
A: (Chamberlin) I dunno, Death Metal definitly but we have elements of everything, thrash, black some doomy parts

Q: Any Insatanity members from other bands, or currently working on other projects?
A: (Lytle) Ed and Justin are both also in Mortal Decay. Ed also plays for PolterChrist. I am also in See Me Burn

Q: Any plans for the next CD yet, or are you still working on supporting the current release?
A: (Chamberlin) We’re full force into the new album. It’s gonna be fuckin brutal

Q: Besides Insatanity, what are the various band members into when not, touring, rehearsing, recording music?
A:
(Chamberlin) I’m a mechanic and I build hotrod cars, other than that it’s finding a balance between family, work and music
(Lytle) We all have regular jobs, so we’re mostly off doing that when we are not playing.

Q: What is your opinion on the current state of the world? (terror, the war in Iraq, and so on…)
A: (Chamberlin) Man, the world is fucked I think. I’m just gonna enjoy the ride!
