Q: Where is Blaspherian from?
A: Infernal hails… We are from the fuckin non metal city of Houston, Texas. We wish this town was metal, but right now its fucking weak.
Q: How long has Blaspherian been together?
A: We formed in 2004 anno satanas
Q: How many members are in Blaspherian? Names? Instruments?
A: right now here is the line-up:
- Wes Infernal – guitar
- Desacrator – vocals
- Matt Mayhem – drums
Q: What (if any) is the message behind Blaspherian’s lyrics?
A: Total rebellion against christianity… to walk your own path, not to be led by any religion, or faith.
Q: Who are your biggest influences?
A: Sadistic Intent, Immolation, Incantation, old Vital Remains, old Deicide (first three records), Possessed, old Slayer, all old cult thrash and death metal.
I would like to add that we are not influenced by, or into fake death metal, such as Devourment, or their one million clone bands. That is not real death metal.
Q: What is some of your favorite art, books (please include authors), & movies, if any?
A: Only unholy satanic art, horror movies etc….
Q: When will Blaspherian be touring? Is there a European tour planned?
A: Fuck man, I wish we could go to europe. Hopefully one day we can perform there, As well as anywhere that metal is hailed.
Q: In general, what has Blaspherian been up to lately?
A: porno, cocaine, buying vinyl [old and new] beer, whiskey, practice… not always in that order.
Q: How do you categorize Blaspherian’s sound when people say “What kind of music is it” Death, Black, Metal, What?
A: Definately death metal. In fact, we want to be catagorized as unholy satanic death metal.
Q: Any Blaspherian members from other bands, or currently working on other projects?
A: Matt Mayhem is in another band….they’re called CRUSHER… Fuckin killer thrash. Great band!
Q: Any plans for the next CD yet, or are you still working on supporting the current release?
A: Soon we will record 5 tracks for a mini l.p. on BLOOD HARVEST records. It will be called “Allegience to the Will of Damnation”. More info at www.bloodharvest.se
Q: Besides Blaspherian, what are the various band members into when not, touring, rehearsing, recording music?
A: cocaine, beer, sluts, hard alcohol, anything blasphemous or anti-religious.
Also collecting metal on vinyl, which by the way is the real format for metal.
Q: What is your opinion on the current state of the world? (terror, the war in Iraq, and so on…)
A: Fuck the world! I hope the world ends as soon as possible.
