Just in time for Halloween here is another review.
For a change a band that might actually need an introduction. Though maybe you are ahead of the curve and are already listening to them. Either way enough rambling and on with the review.
Hells Eden hails from Colorado. They are a 5 piece outfit that seems to be on the right track musically. There is nothing new here. More of a return to old actually. Straight death metal in the vein of Morpheus Descends, Suffocation and Insatanity. This is not bad. In fact, this is good news.
This style of metal is right up my alley. Hells Eden conjures up memories of the good old days. When pure death metal was the pill I needed to make it through the day. Or wait, maybe that was another pill.
A few years ago this is all I wanted to hear. As I have mentioned previously, I opened my ears to a more wide range of metal, but still have a special place in my heart for this style.

Okay ladies and gentlemen. It’s time for another CD review.
Again this band needs no introduction. I am sure you have heard of them. I am also sure that you already have an opinion of this band.
You either love, hate of just kinda tolerate them.
Cradle Of Filth
Well folks, Thornography is not going to make the haters love. Though it might make the lovers hate and those that tolerate, riot.
Cradle has been around for a long time and have released alot of CDs over the years. You are bound to have purchased at least one of them. Maybe you even got one of the ones they put out back when they we’re a black metal band.

So I have been hearing what a great band Mastadon is for a few years now. Seems as though everytime I discuss metal with someone they tell me to check out this band.
Even though I had nothing against Mastadon, they we’re not on the top of my list. Thus I never really gave them much of a shot.
I remember hearing “Remission” at a friends a couple of years back, but never really gave it a good listen until about 6 months ago. I would have to say it is pretty good. Not at all what I had remembered them sounding like.
Not that I remembered them sounding bad or anything, I just remember it as being more death/grind metal in nature than what I would call it now.

Okay, again it is time for me to share my opinion of a new metal CD with the loyal readers of my little site here. If there are any that is.
This time it is for another well established band that really needs no introduction or a review from some fan like me.
Incantation.
They released a new CD “Primordial Domination” like a month ago, and as usual I am late getting my copy and even later publishing this review. So without further ado…
This is the 8th Incantation CD I have purchased in my life.
Let me just say that I am glad I purchased each and everyone of them. Except for the one I got directly from Relapse. It came with a huge scratch on it.
